…I\’m so worried about these trees, but you put my mind at ease. You have been looking after my trees for 16 years now and I trust your word on them…
Sycamore trees accidentally poisoned because they were all suckers off the one specimen, not actually separate trees. We removed some trees and poisoned the stumps, this caused others in the avenue to die off. This is a common occurrence in the species, and also occurs in Casuarina, Elm, and several other species.
…Thank you for your honesty. I really appreciate the way you took the blame for your mistake. I didn\’t want those other trees to die, but now that you have explained how this occurred it does put my mind at ease.
Poplar stump grubbed out in 2009 was still sprouting in 2011…
…that stump is still coming up along the side of the driveway, I thought you said you would grub it out…
All accessible root system had been grubbed but the Poplar root is very hardy.
We returned to the site and injected the roots with poison where they disappeared under the drive.
…thanks for coming back, I didn\’t really expect you to do all that. I just wanted to know that your guy had done the job properly. I will refer you to all my friends…
Regular client in Upwey that has an Elm trees treated for Elm Leaf Beetle.
His trees are on a steep hill with little topsoil.
They did not take up the injection treatment as well as we hoped.
When the client called us, we treated the tree with a canopy spray to alleviate the problem in the short term, then returned the following spring to re-inject the trees.
…thanks for the extra effort you went to. We thought we were going to loose those trees…
